João Correia studied Multimedia Design at the Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), in Covilhã, and worked for nearly a decade at Jornal de Notícias (JN), in Porto.
JN is a national newspaper corporation to which Correia was part of a team responsible for its Infographic and Graphic Design, occasionally working in video animation. As a freelancer, Correia also wrote and self-published an epic fantasy book (Children of War), along with the subsequent illustrations, editing work, and map making that comes associated with such an endeavour.
